Basketball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wynnewood Savages. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-15 two weeks ago.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Wynnewood, they moved to 10-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will welcome Maud at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wynnewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roff at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wynnewood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
