Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Comes Up Short

Clearfield came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Fremont Silverwolves. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Silverwolves: they've now lost four in a row.

Fremont was led to victory by Tayler Webber and Brooklyn Smedley. Webber had nine digs, while Smedley had 11 assists and three digs. That's the most digs Webber has posted over her last four contests.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Fremont, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

Clearfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Ogden on the 4th. As for Fremont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Woods Cross on the 4th.
