Bayshore has won four straight games at home, while Bradenton Christian has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Bayshore Bruins will host the Bradenton Christian Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Bayshore is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Bayshore was handed a 14-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southeast, sneaking past 3-2. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Seminoles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Jordan Greene spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 14 Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Bayshore's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is undefeated (and 2-5 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Bradenton Christian was not the first on the board last Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over Saint Stephen's Episcopal.
Joey Puccia made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Garrett Duquette was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-4. He also hit two doubles, marking his first of the season. Connor Henderson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bayshore has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bradenton Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
