Basketball Recap: Harmony School of Excellence Takes a Loss

Harmony School of Excellence played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Calallen Wildcats and fell 92-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Calallen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Cecava, who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points and eight boards. Tanner Martinez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten assists.

Harmony School of Excellence's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Calallen, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-9.

Harmony School of Excellence has already played their next matchup (against Tuloso-Midway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Calallen will face off against King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calallen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
