Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Takes a Loss

Pflugerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the St. Andrew's Highlanders. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Pflugerville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 33-31, 25-21, 25-23.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Andrew's, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Pflugerville has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Midland on the 21st. As for St. Andrew's, they will head out on the road to square off against Gateway College Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
