Badger's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriella Miller, who had 11 digs and two blocks. Miller is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Kaylin Harnett was another key player, getting ten digs and seven kills.
St. John's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Badger, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
