Football Game Preview: St. John's Cadets vs. St. Michael the Archangel Warriors

The St. John's Cadets will square off against the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. John's is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

St. John's is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Friendship Collegiate Academy, who was ranked third at the time (St. John's was ranked second). The Cadets skirted past the Knights 28-26.

St. Michael the Archangel never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Northumberland on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 33-12 margin over the Indians. The Warriors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 12, 2024 (when they won 30-6).

St. John's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
