Basketball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Strasburg Rams, falling 66-18. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Rams are ranked 171st).

Stonewall Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Strasburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Stonewall Jackson will face off against Central Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Strasburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Page County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
