Jay County is 10-0 against Southern Wells since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Jay County Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Southern Wells Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Jay County ended up a good deal behind Blackford and lost 56-41. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Southern Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 71-52 bruising from Lakeland Christian Academy.

Southern Wells' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Jay County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.

Jay County strolled past Southern Wells when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 53-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jay County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
