Basketball Recap: Keota Takes a Loss

Keota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 45-27 bruising from the Gans Grizzlies. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 41-15.

Keota's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gans, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Keota Lions take on the Braggs Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gans has already played their next match (against Midway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
