Softball Recap: Martin Comes Up Short

Martin managed to slip by Kellogg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Clippers lost 14-3 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Clippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Martin's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kellogg, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Martin will be playing at home against Allegan at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Clippers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kellogg, they will head out to challenge Thornapple Kellogg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
