Baseball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

If Northwest was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Thoreau last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Navajo Prep Eagles on Friday, falling 12-2. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Navajo Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13.

While Northwest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
