Wabash is 8-2 against Lewis Cass since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Apaches will square off against the Kings at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Wabash didn't have quite enough to beat Rochester and fell 3-2. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wabash wouldn't go down easily and took Rochester into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 19-25, 22-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Lewis Cass came up short against Eastern on Monday, falling 3-0. The Kings have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Lewis Cass' loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Wabash, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.

Everything went Wabash's way against Lewis Cass in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Wabash made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Apaches since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
