            Football Recap: Kirkwood Cobras vs. Bartlett Panthers        
        
		
        
        
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kirkwood can now relate to. They were  outmatched by the Bartlett Panthers at home  and fell  44-7. The defensive woes were  uncharacteristic for the Cobras, who until this  contest were averaging 13.64  points allowed.
  Miles Reding threw for 110 yards and a touchdown.  
 Moses Byrd was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.  On the ground, 
 Josiah Claybrooks rushed for 75 yards.
 Kirkwood's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-3. As for Bartlett, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
 Kirkwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bartlett, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Houston at 7:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (Houston: 13.4, Bartlett: 14.6) so any  points scored will be well earned.
