Baseball Game Preview: Glendale Nitros vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

The Glendale Nitros will challenge the Eagle Rock Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Glendale will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Glendale is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 11-7 to Arroyo on Tuesday.

Glendale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dante Vasquez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Vasquez a new career-high. Adrian Magana-Miller was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock fell victim to Muir and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-0. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Eagle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Glendale, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Glendale beat Eagle Rock 6-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Does Glendale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eagle Rock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
