Baseball Game Preview: Assumption Mustangs vs. Central Lafourche Trojans

The Assumption Mustangs will square off against the Central Lafourche Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Last Saturday, Assumption came up short against Westlake and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Central Lafourche came up short against Catholic - N.I. on Saturday, falling 8-1.

Central Lafourche's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Assumption, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Assumption beat Central Lafourche 8-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Assumption repeat their success, or does Central Lafourche have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
