Recap: River City Science Academy Rockets vs. Eagle's View Warriors
The River City Science Academy Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 76-19 loss at the hands of Eagle's View. River City Science Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-9.
Eagle's View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Williams led the charge by scoring 12 points along with eight steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of MJ Glover, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
River City Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Eagle's View, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
River City Science Academy is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Stanton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than River City Science Academy in Florida (Stanton is ranked 345th, while River City Science Academy is ranked 715th). Eagle's View won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Redeemer Christian at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Redeemer Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday.
