Basketball Recap: Madison Central Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Madison Central put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Oriskany Redskins 63-49. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 55-47 victory the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Madison Central pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Oriskany, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Madison Central is taking a road trip to face off against Otselic Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Madison Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Oriskany, they will challenge Faith Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Faith Heritage will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Oriskany surely won't give up without a fight.
