Volleyball Recap: Moody Comes Up Short

Moody lost against Fort Payne back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Payne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lydie Varnadore, who had nine kills. Varnadore is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Moody now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fort Payne, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Moody has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Ashville on the 26th. As for Fort Payne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Northridge on the 23rd.
