Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Victorious

St. John Paul II took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Holly Pond, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The St. John Paul II Falcons had just enough and edged out the Holly Pond Broncos 3-2 on Saturday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 11-3 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2016.

St. John Paul II's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Holly Pond, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. John Paul II has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Ashville on the 1st. As for Holly Pond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-0 loss against Vinemont on the 4th.
