Volleyball Recap: West Anchorage Gets the Win

After losing to Sitka the last time they met, West Anchorage decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

West Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 7-20-2. As for Sitka, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 13-10-9 record.

West Anchorage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wrangell on the 4th. As for Sitka, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mt. Edgecumbe at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th.
