Soccer Recap: Elmira Takes a Loss

Elmira lost against Vestal back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Express took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears.

Elmira's goal came courtesy of Gracelyn Wheeler, who's now up to four this season.

Elmira has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Vestal, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Elmira is taking a road trip to take on Owego Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vestal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
