St. Edmund dropped down to 8-2 on Thursday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost to the Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders on the road by a 37-22 margin. The contest marked the Fighting Blue Jays' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Westminster Christian Academy, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.9 points over those games.

Kyle Horde produced another solid effort rushing for 193 yards and three scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Those 193 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Stephen George was another key player, throwing for 183 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
