Football Game Preview: Three Rivers Bulldogs vs. Ganado Indians + How To Watch

The Three Rivers Bulldogs will challenge the Ganado Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Three Rivers has given up an average of 33.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Three Rivers is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Refugio on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Bobcats and fell 63-13. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

The losing side was boosted by Ethan Conn, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one TD. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 109 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Ganado came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 60-0 victory. The Indians pushed the score to 47-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had no chance of recovering from.

Three Rivers better keep an eye on Landyn Arriaga. He was instrumental in Ganado's win, rushing for 73 yards and three scores on only six carries, while also throwing for 182 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Arriaga a new career-high in passer rating (167.8).

Three Rivers' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Ganado, their record is now 9-1.

Three Rivers and Ganado were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, but Three Rivers came up empty-handed after a 27-26 loss. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
