Hart came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-55 W against the Big Rapids Cardinals. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 74-49 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Hart's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Big Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 16-7.

Looking ahead, Hart will square off against Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ludington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Hart likes a good challenge. Big Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
