Softball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Kellam Knights. If the Stallions were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Green Run saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Serman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Green Run's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kellam, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Green Run will square off against Booker T. Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kellam, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Granby at 4:30 p.m.
