Garfield waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Windham Bombers with a sharp 11-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-1 back in March.

Kolby Fresch was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Olivia Zicari was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Garfield pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Windham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Garfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-4 defeat against Pymatuning Valley on the 14th. As for Windham, they have also already played their next game, a 9-8 loss against Lake Center Christian on the 12th.
