Baseball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Gets the Win

After only two runs in their last matchup, North Judson-San Pierre made sure to put some runs up on the board against Culver Community on Saturday. The Bluejays walked away with an 11-8 win over the Cavaliers. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Christian Ingram made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last five games. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. North Judson-San Pierre is undefeated when Ingram posts two or more runs, but 9-11 otherwise.

In other batting news, Caleb Ginder was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Douglas Reed, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

North Judson-San Pierre's record now sits at 13-11. As for Culver Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
