If Pine Lake Prep was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Draughn on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pride lost 3-0 to the Ayden - Grifton Chargers on Saturday. The Pride's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-17.

Sophie Chilton paced Pine Lake Prep's offense, picking up nine kills. Chilton got some help from Payton Bielec and her 18 assists. Finally, Chilton was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Pine Lake Prep's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Ayden - Grifton, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-7.

As of now, neither Pine Lake Prep nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
