Baseball Recap: Sto-Rox Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Sto-Rox's offense. They came up short against the Steel Valley Ironmen on Friday, falling 15-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Ironmen recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sto-Rox's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Steel Valley, they moved to 4-4-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sto-Rox will face off against Ellwood City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Steel Valley, they will take on East Allegheny at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Ironmen are facing the Wild Cats at the right time seeing as the Wild Cats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
