Volleyball Recap: Pinedale Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Cody

Pinedale faced Cody in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wranglers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncs. The loss continues a trend for the Wranglers in their meetings with the Broncs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Roxanne Melinkovich paced Pinedale's offense, picking up five kills. Melinkovich got some help from Erin Murphy and her 13 assists.

Pinedale's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Cody, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinedale will welcome Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cody, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Lovell at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
