Methacton entered their tilt with Wissahickon on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They skirted past the Wissahickon Trojans 68-65. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Trojans are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Methacton pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Wissahickon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Methacton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Penn at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Methacton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully North Penn likes a good challenge.
