Volleyball Recap: Gunnison Valley Comes Up Short

Gunnison Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Millard Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Gunnison Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Makayla Tucker paced Gunnison Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Tucker got some help from Molli Barney and her 11 assists.

Gunnison Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Millard, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Gunnison Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Duchesne on the 9th. As for Millard, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against North Sevier on the 9th.
