Creighton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Winside Wildcats. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-95) Creighton actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 13-25, 25-22, 15-13.
