Basketball Recap: Southwest Atlanta Christian Piles Up the Points Against Athens Christian

Southwest Atlanta Christian strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Athens Christian Eagles to the tune of 77-46. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Leading Southwest Atlanta Christian to victory were Corey Harris and Talyn Harris. Corey dropped a triple-double with 11 points, 11 boards, and 11 blocks, while Talyn went 7-for-16 en route to 19 points. Corey is crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Jabari Burleson was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Southwest Atlanta Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Athens Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Southwest Atlanta Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
