Soccer Recap: Lynden Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lynden duked it out with Archbishop Murphy on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Lynden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Archbishop Murphy are ranked 29th).

Lynden's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-3. As for Archbishop Murphy, they pushed their record up to 14-3-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Lynden nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
