Softball Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

Tipton lost against Logansport last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Berries, falling 14-1. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Tipton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lacey Bitner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Logansport, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton will challenge Tri-Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logansport, they will square off against Lafayette Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Berries' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bronchos have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
