Basketball Game Preview: Meigs Marauders vs. Hillsboro Indians

The Meigs Marauders will square off against the Hillsboro Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meigs knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Hillsboro likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Meigs didn't have too much trouble with Nelsonville-York as they won 67-53. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Buckeyes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillsboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Vinton County 72-43 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Indians have posted since January 4th.

Hillsboro has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. Meigs' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1.
