McDonough and Leonardtown are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rams will take on the Raiders on Monday. McDonough will be strutting in after a victory while Leonardtown will be coming in after a defeat.

McDonough had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Calvert on Monday. The Rams put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 10-3 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Leonardtown faced Urbana in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Raiders took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Leonardtown's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for McDonough, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.

Everything went McDonough's way against Leonardtown in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as McDonough made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
