Volleyball Recap: Water Canyon Comes Up Short

Water Canyon saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Altamont Longhorns by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leading Altamont to victory were Chezney Bywater and Tessa Jessen. Bywater had eight digs and five aces, while Jessen had six digs. That's the most aces Bywater has posted since back in September.

Water Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Altamont, they moved to 7-16 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Water Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Joseph on the 17th. As for Altamont, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Beaver on the 17th.
