While West Franklin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-9-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Olpe Eagles by a score of 6-2 on Monday. The win was just business as usual for the Falcons, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Zeek Dowd was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

West Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Olpe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Coming up, West Franklin will head out on the road to challenge Central Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olpe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Lancers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
