Baseball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Archbishop Carroll brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against the Roman Catholic Cahillite on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-1 win. The Patriots not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th.

Matt McGaughey spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Drew Mulligan was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Gavin Moore also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
