Basketball Recap: John Miller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat P.K. Yonge

There's no place like home for Eustis, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 52-42 win over the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave on Monday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 57-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Eustis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was John Miller out in front who went 5 for 7 on his way to 14 points. Miller continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Cornelius Hines was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Eustis' win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for P.K. Yonge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Eustis has already played their next game, a 41-40 victory against Leesburg on the 24th. P.K. Yonge has also already played their next matchup (against Suwannee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
