Baseball Recap: Hoosick Falls Panthers vs. Stillwater Warriors
Hoosick Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Stillwater Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hoosick Falls of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
For Stillwater's part, David Giso was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Burdo, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Hoosick Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Stillwater, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoosick Falls is on the road again on Sunday to play Maple Hill at 1:30 p.m. As for Stillwater, they will take on Hoosick Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
