Basketball Recap: Pepperell Takes a Loss

Pepperell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-23 loss at the hands of the Darlington Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, the Dragons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pepperell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Darlington, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-5.

Pepperell will venture away from home to take on Model at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Model will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pepperell surely won't give up without a fight. Darlington has already played their next contest (against Heard County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
