Como-Pickton and Yantis are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Como-Pickton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

On Tuesday, Como-Pickton came up short against Bowie and fell 63-50.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yantis). They put the hurt on Christian Home Educators with a sharp 44-21 victory last Tuesday. The Owls not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 22, 2024 (when they won 48-13).

Yantis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Como-Pickton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Como-Pickton against Yantis in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 56-11 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
