The home team had won the previous five meetings between Delano and Jordan, and Delano kept the tradition alive. The Tigers came out on top against the Hubmen / Jaguars by a score of 10-5 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Hubmen / Jaguars back in April, they had to take a 6-3 loss.

Brody Geislinger was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Issac Vervais also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Delano has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Jordan, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delano will venture away from home to take on Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jordan, they will head out to square off against La Crescent at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Hubmen / Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
