While NorthWood put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Northridge. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in April.

Not much got past Nate Dutkowski, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Northridge off the board. Dutkowski has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, NorthWood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Ransberger, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

NorthWood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, NorthWood will take on Culver Academies at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
