Basketball Recap: White House Starts off Right with Win over Stratford

White House took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 win over the Stratford Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since January 14th.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Montez Martin, who posted 16 points. Kentez Anthony was another key player, putting up 11 points.

White House wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-38 defeat against Beech on the 20th. As for Stratford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-46 win against Maplewood on the 21st.
