Ballard Memorial had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Sunday. They never let the Jackson County Generals get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ballard Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Jackson County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11.

Ballard Memorial has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Raceland on the 27th. As for Jackson County, they will welcome Madison Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
